A Trip to the Park

This morning Izaac was up at five, happy and ready to play... Justice was just leaving for work so I got to be up and happy with him, actually it wasn't too bad because he was in a really happy mood. I put him down for a nap at 8 and he slept untill 10. My friend Linzi called and said they were heading to the park so we packed up the stroller and off we went. It was really nice to get out with the girls it has been awhile since i have been on a morning walk, we used to go everyday last summer but me being in school this summer i missed out on a lot. but I am a semester closer to graduating!! Horray!...
back to today...
the kids played at the splash park and had a wonderful time. it is so fun to see Izaac with other kids, he doesn't fully interact with them yet but he is starting to.

Izaac and Rylee playing with the water. Izaac by himself loving the water.
Izaac and Cora taking a brake.

It was so cute when we got back home all the kids were out!

Cora and Ossi they were supposed to be a month apart but both decided to come early and now they are 4 days appart. Ossi was born June 11th 3 weeks early.

So I am too lazy to do another whole post but wanted to put on these pictures of Cora in the dresses that Samantha made for her!! They are so adorable!! Thanks Samantha!

Cora's Photoshoots!

It is so fun having a girl and dressing them up! The cute bows in Coras hair were made by our friend Megan Riley for Cora's baby shower. I made the funny pink outfit that she is in, way back when.

This is to show what Cora has to live with having a big brother like Izaac!

random update

Here are some random pictures and movies from the past few weeks, we have been busy with family visiting, going to Magrath, going to Egan lake and just hanging out at home, so here are a bunch of pictures of all of that.
This cracks me up, we went to Porter park with both of our parents when they were here and had a fun BBQ. here is Justice helping Izaac play baseball while my dad pitches.

just chillin and waiting for the food to be done!

Playing at the Splash Park with Aunty Adrien, Izaac finally loves the splash park!! He had so much fun and it was wonderful for me having Adrien here to run after him the whole time!!

Isn't it Ironic?

So a few months ago when thinking about when i wanted the baby to be born (like i had a choice at all), I decided that July 11th would be best for us and school and everything. well despite coming on June 15th we got Cora home on July 11th, crazy Eh?? we are so excited to have Cora home and still adjusting to this whole two kid thing. Izaac was having a hard time but is starting to get used to the whole sister thing. he likes to give her hugs. it was so cute the other day Cora had hiccups and Izaac thought that they were so funny so he would stair at her and crack up laughing when ever she hiccuped. we have good and bad moments.

any way... back to the coming home story, they called me Friday about 11am and said that Cora would be discharged today, i was so excited and freaked out. i had to take a test to day and my house wasn't spotless and i was nervous to have her home. any way i had to wait anyway because Justice was in class until 4:00 and his cell phone was dead so i couldn't get ahold of him anyway to tell him so i had to wait. while i waited i had to run a few errands to get Cora's monitors and oxygen tanks from the down town. we have an oxygen monitor for her, she doesn't have to wear it all the time just when i am not in the room or when we are sleeping. it is wonderful for my peace of mind to know that if she starts to go down an alarm goes off and we can help her. we also have oxygen tanks just in case. we haven't really needed them but it is nice to have just in case. Cora is a wonderful baby and sleeps nicely through all of Izaacs screaming and crying, he is teething and isn't in the best of moods, plus he doesn't really understand what is going on so he had had a bit of an adjustment time, poor guy. he is doing good though. any way that is basically all the news, we are trying to get through this last week of school and finals then we plan on enjoying the long awaited brake from school.

4th of July!!

Izaac after the parade.

We had a fun Forth of July, after getting over the disapointment of not being able to bring Cora home today(they thought that she would be home by the 4th because she was doing really well, but then she started to backtrack). We really enjoyed not having school!!! Izaac liked the Parade and had fun pointing out all the different things to us. We sat by some friends from our ward so Izaac had some buddies to keep him company. We had walked down to the parade which was a nice walk, the one back up that huge hill wasn't so nice though. Izaac was exhausted and slept for a few hours before the ward softball BBQ thingy. I droped the boys off and went to the hospital for awhile. I knew Izaac had been having fun when i got there because he was covered in everything. so much for having a white outfit, it is more of a dull brown now! I enjoyed chatting with friends and Justice and the rest of the boys all ran around and played verious games. we were exhausted so justice and Izaac took naps while i went back up to the hospital for awhile. we watched the fireworks at the fairgounds and then went to sit on the hill by the temple and watched all the neighbouring towns fireworks. Izaac had a lot of fun pointing at them all and saying "dis dis" that is what he says when he wants us to look at something. he was so cute! it was a good day all in all.
