it is a good thing that south beach is about a block away because after getin soaked Izaac stripped down to his underwear to head home. I'd like you all to take note that Izaac put them on himself that morning and that is why they are on backwards ;)

Climbing

Cora-girl has finally started to climb on things and this is especially fun to watch at the park now that she can do more and doesn't just sit and chow down on all the snacks around. She really surprised me one day with her new found abilities, so I did as any other mother with a camera does... captured every second of it! probably should have used a video, you say. Well you would be absolutely right but hey I don't think that fast :)

Ahhh, that feeling of accomplishment!!

Makin' a mess... I mean Cupcakes!

Well this is from a few weeks ago but I wanted to put these on here anyway!

Some times I talk myself out of the results of cupcakes, take the $.99 loss of a cake mix and let my kids go for it! They love to cook and are getting pretty good at it don't ya think :)

Oh, Mothers Day...

Sadly my mothers day wasn't quite what I had expected , not that I expect too much. Izaac started getting sick on Friday night... well we only noticed it when he threw-up all over the car on the way home from the ward talent show, thankfully only a block away from Mary's house whom we were giving a ride home, and she got to get out quickly :)

Izaac continued to throw-up all night and most of Saturday and I worked hard to try and stay on top of all the new laundry and scrubbing out the car and everything else that puke had touched in my house.

I was sick all night Saturday and Cora woke up sick Sunday morning. Justice woke up early to prepare a beautiful breakfast... that only he was able to eat :( Well Izaac ate a bit, and Cora wanted to sit in front of her plate but didn't touch much, and I sat a little ways off admiring my beautiful flowers and pearl necklace/earrings from my very sweet Hubby.

I went back to bed while Justice watched my babies! oh hooray for that nap!

It was the longest day ever but not in a good way, Cora was so sad to watch and just kept dry heaving all day long. Justice couldn't escape it for long and by Sunday night was throwing up with the rest of us. Cora and Justice were up about every hour all Sunday night long I had Cora-girl upstairs to keep an eye on, and could hear Justice sick on the couch, again a really long night... so thankful it is over!

We are now all recovering for the most part. Izaac is mainly better and is bored out of his mind because the rest of us are not nearly as fun as usual, poor little guy.

And that was our Mothers day, and the worst part is I missed my mothers day present at church... hey you only get presents at church once a year!! ;)

and thats the news for now! Good times from the Pilgrim house, hopefully this next week will be a little better,, at least slightly better.

Stories

I ventured into Brooklyn by myself to go to Stake conference, Justice had a lot of studying to do, last Saturday. All went well but I only had enough change for 1h 40min for the meter I thought this would be plenty of time for a 1 1/2 h meeting well I guess it was a 2h meeting and was starting to get nervous that it wasn't over and knowing that my meter was way up and Izaac having lost his quiet voice I decided to leave early. Izaac thought that this was the worst idea in the world and fought me the entire way back to the car screaming "I don't want to leave the Gospel!" We made it back to the car at 8:55 with no ticket, thankfully. and hopefully he won't leave the gospel because of it :)

Cora has a fascination with Izaac's bed lately. Izaac was helping me put the dishes in the dishwasher and I noticed that I could no longer hear Cora in the other room so I went searching around the house and I found her under all three of his blankets just lying in his bed wide awake.

Izaac is doing really good at following the rules and pointing out to me when he is doing good. Cora had a habit of always crawling on our table at meal times and during dinner one night Izaac was proudly pointing out to me how wasn't crawling on the table... "but sometimes I do, right mom, just sometimes!" he seems to think that sometimes it's o.k. to do almost anything

As I mentioned before CoraLynn loves to copy, she also Loves to have anything someone else has, one morning Justice was making lunch and despite the fact that she had food in hand she was begging for anything he mentioned. So... slightly annoyed and her constant wanting looked at her and said "ya know what, I could really go for a punch in the face right about now." Cora comes running to me begging for a punch in the face. "Pease, pease Mom I want punch in the face!!"

Izaac has two absolute fascinations in this world, Water, and Fire. He loves candles and always needs to smell them as we walk past in the store or at someones house. but along with that fascination he is Terribly afraid of fire alarms, and beeping in general. He will point out fire alarms anywhere and everywhere and will sometimes tell me that he thinks he smells smoke and the fire alarm may go off. I feel bad that he has this fear but at least it will hopefully keep his love of fire in check fearing that he may set off the alarm

Cora gives the best hugs and will often run up to me and wrap those little arm's around so tight, she is such a sweet girl. She also loves to give mom big kisses and has to make the MMAA sound at the end if she forgets or didn't make it right she requires another kiss to get it right. She has started walking on tip toes lately, I don't really know when it started but she will just pop up every now and then.

Summer plans!

So I have finally bought the tickets and finalized plans for at least July and the beginning of August.

June - Happiest month of the year when everything we want to do can happen! (as long as Justice passes all of his classes)

June 26-July 7th Justice's mom comes to visit bringing Adrien to stay for a bit.

July 14-19 My Mom comes to visit taking the kids home with her so Adrien and I can go to YW camp July 20-24th

July 26 Adrien and I fly home

Aug 11 Kids and I fly home to NY!

Ya, you think all that is confusing, try buying all the tickets for it! but I think I have it all right, with everyone on the right flights, in the right seats, at the right times!
