Lonely, oh so Lonely

So here I am all by myself, with nothing to do but prepare for teaching. Which is how it is going to be for the rest of the summer. My parents were in Utah this past Saturday and had offered to take the kids so we reluctantly took them up on the offer, not that I think they will have a bad time just that we will miss them so very much. So we drove all weekend and made it to and from Utah safely and the kids and my parents made it safely to Magrath. It sounds like they have been having fun with cousins and getting to know grandparents and all that good stuff, I just wish I was with them... oh well I am so grateful to know that they are being taken care of and to just focus on what I am here to do.

Justice started work selling pest control and is hoping to survive the long, hot days. This is his second day so we'll see the report when he comes home at dark.
but I may not post many things this summer because my babies are gone and nothing is fun without them therefor nothing will be post worthy but I may come on now and again for update sake but we'll see.

Oh, by the way I do love being in my 1st grade class, they are adorable and are a lot of fun to teach I am grateful to be finishing my degree and to have a fun class to finish it up in.

I'm sorry if I complain too much... I'm trying to be better!!

Picture Update

Izaac and Zandie at her birthday party

Izaac, Cora, Kyler and Alec
Alec and Izaac were so fun together. They were just getting to that age when they can actually interact and recognize one another.

I didn't realize that Izaac really knew so many of his friends untill we came here and he sees them everywhere! we have seen Luc, Zandy, Madison, and Alec. I have to keep reminding him that those friends are back in Idaho. We miss everyone!!

Grandma Olsen and a traveling companion stoped by in Rexburg and took us out to dinner, it was nice to visit for a bit.

Cora proped up against the wall was so excited to be standing next to her brother, since then she has been trying to work out her weaksauce legs and pull herself up on things, it's kind of a trial and error type of thing

Izaac and Cora at the temple visitors center in St. George

Izaac was thrilled to discover that he could crawl into the sink... it has been quite the challange to brake him of this habit.

Family picture inside Hoover Dam. It was only an hour or so away and it was a funsaturday activity.

Thankfully Grandma Harrison got Easter baskets for the kids we hadn't thought much of it as we were so focused on moving but the kids loved them! Thanks Gram!

Cora with her Bunny and her egg filled with teddy grams

Izaac loved the horses at the fair, you can hear him call it a doggie as he rides past. he looks grumpy but he was just so focused that he forgot to smile. he didn't want to get off.

My mom got Izaac this random toy that is an egg of dirt with a toy dinosaur inside of it Izaac loved trying to get it out.

We Made it To Vegas

well after a terrible trip south, filled with many stops to try and rest as both Justice and I were really tired, we got to St. George Saturday  morning. Thankfully Grandma was there with an open apartment for us to rest up in for a few days. Justice went right in to Vegas to find us a place to live while I got to go to Logandale with Gram, the Harker family and Adrien to see Justin's band, Air Raid Anthem, perform at the Clark County Fair. It was fun to watch them but next time I hope to be able to enjoy it more instead of covering Izaacs ears the entire time, apparently he is not a rocker!
We slept most of Sunday after church and then left St. George early Monday morning. our apartment is definitely not up to the standard of living that we were used to in Rexburg and had been pretty trashed by the previous tenants but us wanting a place as soon as possable agreed to move in before they had cleaned and fixed it. not the best idea. any way as we moved in people came to clean and fix a few things but it is still a bit scary. we just keep telling ourselves that it is only for three months and we can make it through.
we stayed in a hotel for the first night because we didn't have any power but it turned out alright as we got to visit with all the family that was here.
we went to hoover dam on Saturday just to get away for a bit. it was fun just to say we have been there! on Sunday we went out to Logandale for dinner at Cooks and had a wonderful time just visiting, all was good until we got home and while trying to put Izaac to bed justice pulled his arm the wrong way and popped it out, it happened once before and the doctor had to twist it back in so we took him to the emergency room and spent the next hour in a terribly disgusting hospital with filthy chairs, bloodies cotton balls on the floor, garbage overflowing in the room and used sheets on the bed. we definitely aren't in Rexburg anymore. i take back all of the complaints that i may have had about anything that happened in Rexburg! even about Izaac's pediatrician who despite not knowing anything about him kindly popped his arm quickly into place compared to the doctor at this hospital who bent and contorted his arm in every position possible until finally after 5-10  grueling minutes of Izaac screaming in pain he declared him fixed. well i am done my rant about that thankfully Izaac is better and using his arm as before. which he uses mainly to torture Cora nonstop. He has gone a bit crazy with all the moving confusion i guess he has forgotten all the rules and we are painstakingly trying to correct that. speaking of witch i had better go pay attention to my children before something else happens!
love to all and Welcome home to Mom and Dad from their big European vacation! give me a call when you can, but beware that our phone seems to be doing something weird and you may not be able to hear us... i guess just try try again!

Out in the Sun

Well we had a few nice days last weekend when we got to get out side and enjoy the sun! We decided to go and take pictures and just mess around, and so we did. These pictures are actually in reverse order but that's o.k. It was so nice to be out in the sun and Izaac was loving it. Cora fell asleep half way thourugh and was in the car for most of them.

We are going to be New Yorkers!

Well we finally got the good news this friday, an exceptance letter from NYU. We are so excited to know where we are going to be this august. Although we arn't quite sure how we are going to go about finding a house. We will worry about that when the time comes.
I only have 4 more weeks left of school before we move to Las Vegas, I suppose we should find a place to live there as well. any way, we are excited to be moving on and Justice is definatly stoked to be accepted into school, a definate weight of worry has been lifted off him.
We are so greatful for this blessing and recognize the Lords hand in where we should go.

Pictures from the last few months(not in order)

We got a Turtle!

Cora was thrilled to be in the bath with her brother, Izaac... not so much!

We had Alec over at our house a bit ago. the boys have so much fun together, they were so cute hanging out on the stairs so i tried to take a picture of them but neither one of them would put down their juce cup so i took a video instead

WHAT'S THIS, AN UPDATE??!!

Well, well, well... what have we been up to in the month an a half since I last posted?
I'll start with Justices interviews. we were surprised to hear from both New York and Oregon this month. It is getting a little late in the game but i guess everyone is late this year. Justice CoraLynn and I headed east leaving Izaac Home with Justices Mom who kindly came down from Montana to hang out with him. Cora was a wonderful traveler and slept almost the entire trip the people on the plane were grateful and many commented on what a good baby we had. I took that to mean "We're glad your kid didn't scream the entire way!" We went straight to the Dental school when we got off the plane because we had nowhere else to go being about 6 am. I thought that I would be able to sit in a waiting room unnoticed until he was done. But no such luck. I don't know why but people just couldn't overlook our huge stroller, suitcases and baby... I guess we did kind of stand out... any way everyone was really nice to us and although I felt bad for being such a disturbance I was grateful to all who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Cora, of corse, was adorable with huge smiles to any who dared to look her way.
We made our way to the hotel walking the 10 or so blocks. Our hotel was nice enough and right down town so we were able to walk everywhere for the two days that we were there. We went to a few museums, and central park and many places in between.
I think the highlight of our trip was to have a friend... yes, we did have a friend,,, one of Justices old classmates from BYUI was going to NYU and he just happened to run into him. Grant and his wife Alicia were so wonderful to us. we went out to dinner with them on Saturday and then followed them to church and home for a wonderful dinner on Sunday. they even dropped us off at the airport! We really appreciated having a tour guide!
A few days after returning home Oregon offered an interview so Justice went alone to the other coast. He said the interview went well and Oregon was really pretty. I wasn't there so you don't get as many wonderful details on that trip. but since those interviews we have been playing the waiting game. That is defiantly the frustrating thing about this whole process, waiting and waiting. and waiting.
in the mean time I am still going on with my crazy semester. I am in a fifth grade class in Idaho Falls and it is a lot of fun. I also have many on campus classes as well. Justice is kindly staying home with our babies. Izaac is chatting up a storm. he is so funny to listen to i am amazed at all the new words that he comes out with. some that i can think of right now are "Stinky" referring to Cora's diapers and never his own, "copcurm"- popcorn is his favorite snack lately, "Cockolate" he is sure to enunciate this one so he gets his message accross. "Book, Song, plane, trucker," are ones he has had for awhile but are still so cute. He is also really good about saying "Thank you _____(whoever)" and "bess you" if anyone sneezes or coughs. he loves to beep when he hears beeping noises like in Wal-Mart when a worker is price checking he repeated every sound from the next isle. If he hears a bunch of sounds that he doesn't know he always tells me. "Noises"
i guess that is enough of his words although there are many more. they are just not as cute in writing form.
Cora is getting so big she loves to sit up and is almost crawling. about a week ago who weighed in at 14lbs and 4 oz. She is a very opinionated little girl and if something doesn't go her way Her shrill scream will let you know. She has become wiser to Izaac and gives a scream whenever he is about to steal her toys. She is still a great smiler and loves to be adored.
I guess that is all for now, I will try to be better at the update thing but who knows!!
I love you all,,, except the ones i only like a lot!!(You know who you are!)

Christmas Vacation

So here are pictures from Christmas, Finally!!
We spent a week at Justices parents house in Montana and then a week at my house in Alberta. we had a lot of fun despite getting sick and having really crappy weather especially on the way home. we had to stop in Shelby MT, the first town after we crossed the boarder. we stayed the night in a gross hotel while everything in our car frooze including a can of ginger ale which exploded everywhere! we finally made it home for me to start an insane semester that i can't wait to be over even though it has only been a week and a half of classes.

Justice was so excited to take Izaac sledding but Izaac just fell asleep on the way back up the hill, we'll try again next year!

Izaac and Jake, Jake was Izaac's constant companion especially whenever he had food.
