random updates from the past few months

so... it looks like i have been slacking in my blog posts. So, I'll try and do a quick update for everyone. these aren't really in any order it is just what i remember as i remember it.
* We got to visit Justices parents for a few days. Izaac had fun with Grandma and Grandpa. but mostly with Jake, the dog, Izaac thought he was so funny and kept running after him saying "puppy". it was kind of a love hate relationship as Jake often stole the food from Izaacs hand when ever he was walking around. Izaac would be so confused whenever it happened. It was nice to hangout and relax for a few days.
* our fishes died. the two orange ones went first and the other one died a week or so later. Izaac still points at the bowl and says "Fishes". i wonder if he even notices that they are gone. I guess it is a good thing that we didn't name them!!
* Justice started work at Norsun. we rarly saw him during the brake. but he had two weeks off once school started. too bad our vacations didn't coincide.
* I am back in school and i love all of my classes. i am taking 19 credits and it is definatly a challange especially with two kids. Poor Izaac is feeling neglected. he gets so upset when Justice or I leave. i have to keep telling myself it is only temporary and will be over in less then a year! we just have to make it until next July.
*Izaac is starting to talk a lot more he is really good at copying us. we were at applebees a bit ago and justice was playing around talking to him and he asked Izaac to say Cowabunga. and sure enough Izaac comes out with "Cow wa wung a" it was the perfect amount of syllables and sounded so much like it we both stoped and then started cracking up. he hasn't repeated it though.
* Justice and I celebrated our third Anniversary!!
* Cora now weighs 10 lbs and Izaac about 24lbs.
* We went to the state fair in Blackfoot. Izaac had fun seeing all the animals and looking around at everything. Cora just slept the entire time.
* We went to the Idahofalls Zoo. it was so much fun the Zoo is the perfect size for Izaac it wasn't too big but there were still a lot of neat animals. he loved watching the Monkeys. there was one monkey that kept comming up to the glass and following us when we moved. we thought that he must have liked us until the Zoo keeper lady told us that he was very teritorial and if the glass wassn't there he would have attacked us... hmmm... good thing for the glass. we still told Izaac that the monkey liked him.
* Cora is the best smiler! she is so adorable whenever someone looks at her she brakes out in a huge grin she is so cute and loves to be tickeled and laugh!

well I guess that is all for us for now. or at least that is all i can think of at the moment.

Fishes!!

Izaac and I needed some excitement in our lives so I thought to myself... hmmm... what can I get that would make my son squeal with excitement. Then it came to me... 20 cent goldfish!
Izaac loves fish, justice took him to the pet store one day when he didn't want to accompany me into Michael's craft store. (I have no idea why) Izaac ran back and forth pointing at all the fish in the tanks. He would point at each tank and crack up and then move on to the next tank. kids are so funny.
Well Izaac loves his new goldfish, (even though one of them is brown, not gold). I think he was more excited for them to come home then when we brought Cora home. every morning we wake up and look at the fish on the table. It puts a smile on his face no matter what mood he was in previously. The only down fall is that he gets rather distraught that I will not allow him to eat the fish food. when ever he sees me pick up that orange container he starts in on the "peas, peas" it is great that he has manners and all but it does get annoying when he wants something that he can't have or that I just don't want to give him, such as my cereal every morning. No matter what he has on his plate what I have must be 10 times better right? apparently.
any way... so these are are three fish, who still remain nameless at the moment. I have the hardest time naming things. it is good that you have 9 months to think of a name when you have a baby, it may take that long before these fish are named... if they live that long... here's hoping!!

CoraLynn's Blessing Day

Alyssa, Riley, and Cloe came to visit this weekend. Horray for visiters!! we had planned to go to Yellowstone but kindof ran out of time. we had fun any way in Idaho Falls and at Heise, actually heise was packed full so we found a nice spot down the road. the boys wanted to go fishing but us girls didn't want to be left with nothing to do so we practiced on the grass instead. it was fun.

Sunday we blessed Cora. it was a lovely blessing and she actually got to wear the dress that I made a few years ago. i was excited that it fit her, she was a mass of ruffles!!! it was adorable.

A Trip to the Park

This morning Izaac was up at five, happy and ready to play... Justice was just leaving for work so I got to be up and happy with him, actually it wasn't too bad because he was in a really happy mood. I put him down for a nap at 8 and he slept untill 10. My friend Linzi called and said they were heading to the park so we packed up the stroller and off we went. It was really nice to get out with the girls it has been awhile since i have been on a morning walk, we used to go everyday last summer but me being in school this summer i missed out on a lot. but I am a semester closer to graduating!! Horray!...
back to today...
the kids played at the splash park and had a wonderful time. it is so fun to see Izaac with other kids, he doesn't fully interact with them yet but he is starting to.

Cora's Photoshoots!

It is so fun having a girl and dressing them up! The cute bows in Coras hair were made by our friend Megan Riley for Cora's baby shower. I made the funny pink outfit that she is in, way back when.

This is to show what Cora has to live with having a big brother like Izaac!
